Freedom Finance started life as Wilmslow Financial Services in 1983. In 2001, a brand was developed called Freedom Finance Group. This group consists of Freedom Finance plc, Freedom Funding, Freedom Mortgage Network, Freedom Mortgages & Loans Ltd, Freedom Spain and Freedom Sweden.

Freedom Finance Plc is the largest part of the business and is also among the UK’s leading national finance brokers for personal loans and mortgages.

Freedom Finance offer a direct-to-customer service as well as a loan and mortgage broking service to the intermediary market.

Freedom Finance loans are available to homeowners only. Loan amounts range from £5k - £100k and the period can run for five to 30 years. Secured loans are also available from Freedom France for people who have a less than perfect credit history (such as those with County Court Judgements or previous arrears) as well as the self-employed.

Loan applications are available online or via the telephone Monday – Friday 8.00am – 10.30pm and from 8am – 9pm at weekends, giving the customer the convenience to arrange their finances at a time suitable for them.
